My journey started as a 12 year old child helping my widowed mother maintain rental properties.
After college (being a blue collar kid with a white collar education) my journey into full remodelling began in 1989, designing window and door projects for a window replacement manufacturer in Ohio. Later I grew into designing and implementing applications of kitchens, bathrooms, roofs, gutter systems design.
In 2006 I was recruited to work for an award winning remodelling company near Chicago. I was responsible for not only my previous duties, but they required me to learn about architectural design, electrical, plumbing and structural engineering for both simple and complex residential remodelling projects. I also contributed to product development, purchasing a hands-on and how-to education for myself and our crews.
Later in my career I progressed to full project management, procurement, implementation, education of crews, and application to meet our customers needs. I have learned and been taught by doing, just as happily with a hammer as with a blueprint.
I semi-retired from the remodelling business for 10 years pursuing a career as an appliance specialist for national retailers, although I still kept busy with occasional projects.
Now that I am done with that I went back to my calling: Offering quality home services at fair prices. I learned the value of a hands on approach and clear communication in all aspects of serving my clients. Please know you will get my best effort each and every day.
